Job Description

    We need your help in creating and executing our content.

    You’ll join a team of more than 80people that value self-development, contribution to the community and engineering work ethics. Finally, you’ll become a part of a Marketing Team that’s devoted to strengthening Software Mill’s brand, engaging audiences with tech-savvy and thoughtful content, executing out-of-the-box marketing campaigns, and maintaining long-term relations with the IT community.

    What will you do

    Create, execute, and manage content projects to drive traffic and conversions

    Choose and work with various content distribution channels that attract the right audience and keep them engaged

    Take care of high Software Mill ranking in Google

    Build brand awareness on a global market among potential clients and hires

    What we expect

    You MUST have 2+ years of experience in content writing for tech/IT industry

    You can ideate, plan, and execute different types of content that are SEO-friendly and support strategic marketing goals

    You have a passion for writing, excellent editing and proofreading skills and are not afraid of letting your creative juices flow

    Your content portfolio already consists of content pieces that present difficult knowledge in a simple, but professional and digestible way (please attach it to your application)

    You have excellent written English that allows you to research and create content in the tech/IT industry

    You ask the right questions to better understand and identify marketing personas in order to create helpful, informative, and engaging content

    Understand and use various content distribution tactics, like social media organic distribution, guest posting, content curation, etc. – sky’s the limit

    You use tools like Surfer SEO, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Key Word Planner, Mail Chimp, and Buffer

    You can assess the quality of your own work, draw conclusions from analytical tools, and present ideas to improve content performance

    You’re a true team player that values open communication and are not afraid to ask for help or proactively seek more information

    You keep an open mind to receiving feedback and working with other people’s suggestions

    You know how to plan and organize your work for the efficient and smooth operation of the marketing team


    Additional advantages

    Tech-savviness– you are keen of the IT world and not afraid of researching and writing 101IT-industry content

    Experience in creating basic visual content such as images or videos with tools like Canva

    Passion for digital marketing and understanding both marketing and sales funnels goals across different touchpoints

    Experience in communicating company’s brand to potential hires

    Previous experience in working remotely is a plus
