The Role

Assembly AI is growing quickly, and we’re searching for a strong account executive who will play a key role in expanding our business globally. With significant investment and strong leadership to fuel our growth, it’s the perfect time to join the Assembly AI team!

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

  1. Own an end-to-end sales pipeline. As one of the first members of our sales team, be involved in every step of the sales process including qualification, problem identification, and closing. Play an active role in sales strategy and business planning, and help to identify and develop new opportunities.
  2. Work directly with the CEO to close enterprise customers. These sales often involve multiple conversations with senior leaders at big name tech companies, and you will work closely with our leadership team to close key customers.
  3. Build relationships with technical leaders of strategic accounts. Guide key stakeholders (CTOs, Product Managers, and Founders) from leading tech companies through the process of choosing and integrating our API, and working to constantly improve the overall experience.
  4. Become a product expert for our API. Employ a relationship driven and highly consultative sales approach and understand our competitive landscape.


  1. 3+ years of sales experience selling into enterprise clients –with most of those years spent in a closing role
  2. Strong technical sales experience and comfort working with key stakeholders in engineering, product, and AI (e.g. CTO, CPO, etc.)
  3. Experience navigating a complex sales cycle and closing large($200k+), annual recurring revenue (ARR) deal opportunities
  4. Comfortable building on current sales playbook—offering an industry leading, developer-first approach
  5. You are experienced in selling complex technical solutions to clients (eg. Developer APIs)
  6. Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions

  1. Uncapped commission and 1.5x accelerators on OTE
  2. Quarterly spiff incentives (gift cards, trips, etc.) for hitting quarterly goals like “best new customer logo” or “most logos closed”

They conduct cutting edge deep learning research and develop novel algorithms & techniques to continually push the state of the art in speech recognition & NLP!
